Post 3: My Dream Job

Ever since I began envisioning my professional future, I've been profoundly drawn to the world of research. I vividly imagine myself not only authoring impactful scientific articles destined for prestigious journals but also mentoring eager interns as they take their first tentative steps in the vast realm of scientific inquiry.

To transform this vision into reality, there's a plethora of skills and knowledge I still need to acquire. The PCR technique stands out as a poignant reminder. After three attempts, perfection eludes me. The realm of research is demanding, necessitating an unwavering commitment to continuous learning. Science is dynamic, constantly pushing boundaries, and it's imperative we researchers stay abreast of the latest breakthroughs.

In addition to research, I nurture a deep-seated desire to teach, with the University of Chile at the top of my list. The prospect of molding the minds of future scientists, disseminating my knowledge, and fostering a love for discovery is exhilarating.

On the matter of salary, while research might not promise vast wealth, I wholeheartedly believe in the immeasurable personal satisfaction it offers. Monetary gains may be modest, but the intellectual rewards are boundless.
Presently, I'm engrossed in my biochemistry studies. Each lesson strengthens my conviction that this is the noble path I'm meant to tread. The allure of untapped knowledge, the gratification of scientific revelations, and the potential to leave a lasting imprint on the world are the forces that propel me.
